Membership Qualifications

Wiregrass Human Resource Management Association (WHRMA) is an organization of professionals from diverse industries and service institutions, public and private, as well as government, both state and federal, who are interested in or engage in human resource management, personnel administration, industrial relations, education or training and development.  WHRMA is an affiliate of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) association.

 Membership Benefits

 As a member, you can expect a monthly forum for professionals like you to meet, engage in, and discuss interesting and timely topics relevant to the human resource profession.  Monthly meetings are normally held on the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 AM and may feature a guest speaker, a panel discussion, or a round-table group.  Meetings are held at Wiregrass Rehab Center (WRC), 805 Ross Clark Circle East, which is located across from Perdue, & 1/2 mile from Southeast Al Medical Center on the right as you are traveling north on the bypass.  As you enter the WRC driveway, drive pass the first building which is the Administration Building and park beside the 2^nd building (B).  In addition, our members receive a monthly newsletter to keep them abreast of current activities.

 Membership Dues

WHRMA’s annual membership dues are currently $35.00 if already a SHRM national member or $45.00 for local only members.  Additional members in a company pay $30.00 if already a national member or $40.00 for local only members.

 Options:

q      National Member.  If you are ready a SHRM national member.  For SHRM national members the WHRMA annual membership cost is $35.00.  When attending the monthly program, member’s pay $10.00 to cover the cost of their meal.

q      Local Member only. WHRMA annual membership cost $45.00.  When attending the monthly program, member will pay $10.00 to cover the cost of their meal.

q      9 meals.  Members may prepay for their monthly luncheon.  Cost is $10.  The 2 Legal Roundtables and April Forum are excluded from this payment and paid separately depending upon participation.
