The Wiregrass Human Resource Management Association (WHRMA)
members meet monthly to engage in, and discuss interesting and timely topics
relevant to the human resource profession. These human resource forums are
normally held on the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 AM and may feature
a guest speaker, a panel discussion, or a round-table group. A buffet lunch
starts at 11:30, the meeting and speaker start at 12:00. Directions: WRC is located on the Ross Clark Circle, across from Perdue, and 1/2 mile from Southeast Alabama Medical Center on the right as you are traveling north on the bypass. As you enter the WRC driveway, drive pass the first building which is the Administration Building and park beside the 2nd building. Enter through the front door of the 2nd building and we will be in the first room to the right. Also information concerning the meetings will be emailed to each member one week prior to the meeting. Reservations are made by contacting Candice Maddox at candice@prdothan.com or calling 334-794-8722 two days prior to the event. Cost is $10. Every year WHRMA joins with Troy University Dothan to present an HR Forum to the local area. The seventh annual HR Forum event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Troy University Dothan. This special day will include 5 speakers, 20 exhibitors, handouts, notebook, door prizes, give-aways, and lunch. Cost for the event is $75 for non-WHRMA members and $50 for WHRMA members.
